Terms and Conditions - Gardener Covent Garden
Welcome to Gardener Covent Garden. By accessing and using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Service Scope
Gardener Covent Garden provides a range of gardening services including but not limited to lawn maintenance, garden design, planting, pruning, and seasonal clean-ups. Our services are available to residential and commercial clients within the Covent Garden area.
2. Booking and Scheduling
All services must be booked in advance through our designated booking system. We strive to accommodate preferred dates and times; however, availability cannot be guaranteed. Clients are advised to book at least two weeks in advance to ensure timely service delivery.
2.1 Rescheduling Appointments
- Notice Period: Clients must notify us at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule an appointment without incurring additional fees.
- Availability: Rescheduling is subject to availability and may not be possible during peak seasons.
3. Payment Terms
Payments are due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept various payment methods including cash, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers.
3.1 Pricing
- Service Fees: Our pricing is competitive and based on the scope of work required. Detailed quotes are provided prior to service commencement.
- Additional Costs: Any additional materials or specialized equipment required for specific tasks will be billed separately.
3.2 Late Payments
Late payments may incur a surcharge of 5% of the total invoice amount for each week delayed. Continuous non-payment may result in suspension of services until outstanding balances are settled.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Clients may cancel services with a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the service cost.
4.1 Refund Policy
- Satisfaction Guarantee: We strive to ensure client satisfaction. If services are not performed to the agreed standard, clients may request a partial or full refund within 7 days of service completion.
- Non-Refundable Fees: Booking and scheduling fees are non-refundable.
5. Liability
Gardener Covent Garden is committed to providing high-quality services. However, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
5.1 Property Damage
- Responsibility: We take utmost care to prevent damage to client property. In the unlikely event of damage, we will repair or compensate the client as appropriate.
- Exclusions: Pre-existing conditions or inherent weaknesses in property structures are not covered under this liability.
5.2 Personal Injury
Clients must ensure that the work area is safe and free from hazards. We are not responsible for any personal injury sustained during service provision unless caused by our direct negligence.
6. Insurance
We maintain comprehensive liability insurance to cover any unforeseen incidents during service delivery. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
7. Client Responsibilities
Clients are expected to:
- Provide access to the property at the agreed-upon times.
- Inform us of any specific requirements or restrictions related to the garden or property.
- Ensure that pets are secured during service hours to prevent interference or accidents.
8. Intellectual Property
All designs, plans, and content provided by Gardener Covent Garden are the intellectual property of the company and may not be reproduced without explicit permission.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the service agreement with proper notice. Upon termination, clients are responsible for payment of all services rendered up to the termination date.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in London.
11. Amendments
Gardener Covent Garden reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes via email or through our official communication channels.
12. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining terms shall remain in full force and effect.
13. Entire Agreement
These terms constitute the entire agreement between the client and Gardener Covent Garden regarding the use of our services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
14. Acknowledgment
By engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
